Meet Adam
Born and raised in Gastonia, North Carolina, Adam has an intimate knowledge of the metal manufacturing industry in the southeast, having grown up around it, both learning from his father and spending time learning various skills on the production floor. After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, Adam built his foundation working in the OEM and corporate retail industries. Adam later followed his passions and joined his father representing some of the best metal fabricators and machine shops that the Carolinas have to offer. Adam’s goal now is to continue the sustained success his company has enjoyed since the inception of the company in 2002, seeking partnerships with OEMs, to help them achieve their manufacturing goals.

OUR CAPABILITIES AT SOUTHEAST METAL MANUFACTURING

Metal Fabrication
Equipped with some of the best technology the industry has to offer, our fabricators are ready to help you meet your laser cutting needs. Whether it's prototypes or large production runs, we strive to partner with our customers to produce cost competitive, precision parts, in a timely manner. We commonly work with stainless and carbon steel, aluminum, and copper and can cut up to 1/2" material.
We also offer 6 axis laser cutting for your already formed parts.

BENDIng
Our vendors offer wide range of bending capabilities. From simple bends to complex bends, both large and small, we have solutions that fit your needs. And apart from you standard press brakes, we also offer panel bending, which can make complex, multi directional bends on large parts, reducing material handling and cutting press brake time by more than half in some cases.

Welding & robotic welding
Welding has become a dying art. But our vendors have invested in their communities and support local trade schools. They are are proud to train and employ AWS and CWB certified welders. They feature both mig and tig welding, as well as stud welding. Robotic welding is becoming an essential piece of equipment for OEMs with high volumes and a need for consistent welding expectations. They reduce production time, as well as risks associated with using manual welding.

Machining
Our vendors manufacture precision machined parts for your OEM needs. They are there for your milling, turning, and grinding needs. They can hold tolerances to .0005" on their turning centers, and .0001" on their precision grinding. We regularly machine parts from castings, aluminum, carbon and stainless steels, and select plastics.

STAMPING
Our vendor provides a full array of metal stamping services. We offer 14 presses, ranging from 35 tons to 600 tons, to cover all sizes of your stamping needs. They offer both automated, coil fed presses, as well as manual presses, for parts that require a bit more attention. Managing and maintaining your stamping assets are an integral part to making sure your company receives a consistent quality part that you can rely on. We regularly document and service your dies, to make sure they are fit to run. We thoroughly review the condition of your assets upon delivery, and during it's time at our facilities.

HEAR WHAT OUR SATISFIED CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY
Adam is the kind of sales representative that you wish could be repping all your suppliers. I have several reps that I cringe when they call. Many do not have a personality, or a good character, and they are strictly business. Being strictly business savvy is not bad for some people but we all are in a business grind every day. It’s good to break it up even for a few minutes to discuss family, sports, world conditions, then business. Adam is this guy. I am always picking up his call or meeting for lunch when available. He does what he says, and it is always pleasant talking with him or to just be around him.
ZIEHL-ABEGG
Adam has helped make my job easier. I appreciate that he stays connected and provides details and feedback. He keeps us informed with any changes and the vendors are quick to respond with quality products. Always a pleasure when working with Adam, A++
